IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

JAIIB/CAIIB/ELECTIVES EXAMINATIONS
Institute is making continuous efforts to adopt technology in its all activities. It is a pioneer in offering proctored on-line examinations and has been offering JAIIB exams in on-line mode in 60 centers. Further the on-line examinations for certificate courses and DB&F is offered in 100 plus centers.
The Institute is happy to announce that the CAIIB examinations (two compulsory and 11 electives) will also be offered on-line from May/June 2014 examinations. It has also been decided to increase the number of on-line centers for JAIIB.
Candidates are requested to note the following in this regard:
I. For May/June 2014 Examinations
Currently the Institute offers JAIIB/CAIIB examinations in 276 centers. It has now been decided that :
  1. JAIIB/CAIIB/ELECTIVES Examinations will be conducted at 236 centers in Online Mode. In these centers there will beNO option of paper & pencil ie. off-line mode examination.
  2. In the remaining 40 Centers (list given under) where the number of candidates is very low the Institute will offer paper & pencil i.e. off-line mode examination for the May/June 2014 examination. There will be NO option of on-line exam in these centers. (These candidates are advised to carefully read the information given in II below).
  3. DB&F and Certificate examinations will be conducted on-line mode at 129 centers in the country.
II. For November /December 2014 Examinations and onwards
From November/December 2014 the JAIIB / CAIIB Examinations will be conducted ONLY in ONLINE mode in all centers. As such the Institute will not be in a position to offer Paper & Pencil i.e. off-line mode examination in the 40 centers mentioned in I. (2) above. In view of this the candidates who are enrolling for the May/June 2014 examinations and those who propose to take the examinations in these 40 centers must take note of the fact that they will have to opt for nearby on-line centers for November/December 2014 examination.
III. Admit Letters
With effect from May/June 2014 Examinations the Institute will not be sending the Admit Letter (hard copy) through post, but will be sending it to candidates through e-mail. As per current practice the admit letters will also be available for download on Institute's website (www.iibf.org.in) one week before the examination.
The time table for the examination will be uploaded in the portal shortly.
